Ir – ‘to go’ is one of the most irregular verbs in the Spanish language and many students encounter the present tense conjugation of it very early on in their studies as it is a very commonly used verb, here is the conjugation of the presente.

Ir Present tense Conjugation

  • yo voy – I go
  • tú vas – you go (formal singular)
  • él/ella va – he/she goes
  • usted va – you go (polite singular)
  • nosotros/as vamos – we go
  • vosotros/as vais - you go (formal plural)
  • ellos/ellas van – they go
  • ustedes van – you go (polite plural)
