All tenses of Hacer in the Subjunctive are irregular and will therefore need a lot of studying in order to memorize them. Thankfully, in all hacer subjunctive tenses it is not the endings that are irregular, as they follow the pattern of regular -er verbs in the subjunctive, but the stem of the actual verb.

In hacer present subjunctive the stem changes from ‘hac-‘ to ‘hag-‘ and in the subjunctive imperfect and future it changes to ‘hic- and all these changes are highlighted in bold red below.
